About Us

Mary Kay and I were very surprised and honored to be chosen COY for the year 2011. We will be married ten years this month.  Mary Kay has two sons Kevin and Ken and one daughter Karen. I have one daughter Sharon and one son Ed Jr.  Between us we have nine grandchildren.

My first encounter with riding was when I purchased a very used up Roadmaster bicycle with a Wizzard motor mounted on it for $35. After I was married and my children were teenagers we got them a Moped. That’s the extent of my riding until after Mary Kay and I were married.

Mary Kay retired at the end of December 2000 and we got married on January 26, 2001 in Wickliffe , Ohio and moved to Seattle where we got our first Gold Wing in the summer of 2002. It was a 84 Interstate. We joined GWRRA and belonged to Chapter C in Everett Washington . Two years later we purchased our current bike (98 SE). In 2005 I retired from PEMCO Financial Services and we starting looking for a place to retire. Mary’s son, Ken, lives in Marietta so we drove down and found our current home. This was November of 2005. Our friend from Seattle rode our bike down the following spring and we had it triked out.

We really enjoy the camaraderie of being with our 2nd family that is our chapter B-2. We look forward to the many years of riding ahead, making new friends, and helping B-2 be the best chapter in region A.
